Broke my back[and chest bone] November 1991
Nearly died…

Which led to the wilderness years.
But still came back with the best album of my life.
Mike Joyce from the Smiths drumming…
at the end of century 20,Sony spent about £1,000,000 on
‘Songs of strength and heartbreak’.
Then dropped us!
I know…sony rock’n’roll-
But I like it!
And it got the best reviews of my life.

I may have sometimes done the wrong thing,
But always for the right reasons.
